As a part of a celebration of Haridwar Kumbh 2021, the Mela Authorities have come up with a contest for composing a “Kumbh Song”. Interested Indian citizens can participate as an Individual, Group, or Organization. You can send a maximum of two entries (Kumbh Song/ Geet) of 3 to 5 minutes duration with lyrics, composition, and music. The song can be in Hindi and English Language only.
According to the notice the best entry would be rewarded a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000/-.
Highlights of Haridwar Kumbh 2021 Song Contest:
- The participants are required to upload their entry as a high-quality audio file on any media platform such as SoundCloud, YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. Post this they must share the publicly accessible link on MyGov.
- Uploading, only the lyrics of a self-composed song will not be termed as a valid entry.
- The last date for submission of your entries is March 25th. Post this date no entries will be accepted.
- Participants are also supposed to submit the description in not more than 500 words, such as names of the lyricist, composer, singer, etc
