The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to start ‘The CBSE Reading Mission’ to increase the reading ability of the school students. The two-year initiative will commence on September 20th at 3:00 p.m.
The Board has partnered with Pratham Books’ Story Weaver and Central Square Foundation to launch this mission.
CBSE will provide quality-reading material in both Hindi and English language to the affiliated schools. The reading material that has been innovatively designed will be suitable for school students from Classes 1 to 8.
CBSE Reading Mission will encourage the school students to read books and enhance their critical competency of reading with comprehension, an official statement said.
Thus we would request all the schools to participate actively and join CBSE in nurturing the next generation of readers and learners!
