Deputy CM Dr. Dinesh Sharma today attended the second convocation of Jannayak Chandrashekhar University. On this occasion, he said it is their Government’s endeavor to internationalize education and for this, they are talking to six Australian universities.

The Deputy CM stated they have also invited other universities from the world. According to him, six state universities are going to be opened in Saharanpur and Azamgarh, etc. He said learning parks are going to be set up in rural areas. The digital library of India has been contracted for this. So that the youth get more employment opportunities. It is said that the Government has put in efforts to start courses in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism in some universities.

With reference to Jannayak Chandrashekhar University said that this university has a golden history and is surrounded by the holy stream of Ganga and Saryu. He said that the present government has given sufficient funds for the construction of Jannayak Chandrasekhar University. This University has touched height in a short time.

Dr. Sharma said that the government has decided that 79 government colleges will be opened soon. Efforts are being made so that the 70 percent syllabus is the same in the entire state, while the 30 percent of the syllabus will be prepared by the concerned university. Changes are being made under the new education policy. He stated there is more emphasis on skill development in higher education. The effort is to have virtual classrooms implemented in all universities. Efforts are being made to promote online teaching. In the end, he said to the meritorious people who got the degree, if they are taking initiation here, then use it in the betterment of society.
