Education Ministry to prepare Database On Buddhism Courses

Buddhism Courses

Ministry of Education as the initiative is going to prepare a comprehensive database of Buddhism Courses offered by various Indian Universities.

The database will have detail information about Buddhist scholars, Pali scholars, alumni and annual conferences, seminars and conclaves organised by various Indian universities.

To achieve this University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked all the Universities to contribute. They are requested to provide relevant details on Buddhism-related programmes offered by them.

In a letter addressed to Universities Vice-Chancellors, UGC secretary Rajnish Jain has asked to submit the details like – name, number of students, number of research scholars, etc.

University VCs have to submit information related to such courses through an online Google form. You can click here to access the form and submit the details on Buddhism Courses.
