To the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Rattan Lal Katariain shared the status of Government Scholarship Schemes. There are various scholarships that are announced by the Central Government or Statment Government throughout the year for students of different levels.
This Ministry is implementing various Centrally Sponsored and Central Sector Schemes for educational upliftment of the marginalized sections including Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) by providing scholarships to them.
The details of the scholarship schemes implemented by this Ministry and the number of beneficiaries of these schemes during 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21 were shared today. Click here to get the details.
Please note that the funds under different schemes were released during the COVID-19 pandemic by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment and Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (D/o EPwD).
