Higher Education Scholarship Offered to CMS Student

Syed Dawar, a student of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus has been offered admission with a higher education scholarship. Caldwell University, USA has offered a US$ 1,08,000 scholarship. He has been offered higher education scholarship for the entire study period of four years.

Apart from this, Syed Dawar has secured admission with scholarships in 3 more noted universities of the USA namely

  • Illinois Institute of Technology,
  • Florida Institute of Technology, and
  • Rochester Institute of Technology, bringing laurels to the city.

CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi expressed great happiness over this outstanding achievement of CMS students and wished him a very bright future.

CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon informed that each year scores of CMS students are offered admissions in the top universities of the world. This year, till now, over 80 CMS students have been offered admissions in the top universities of the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany, etc., most of them on scholarships. He further added that CMS makes consistent efforts to expand students’ horizons and provide them opportunities, facilitating their studies in top institutions of higher education both in India and abroad.

CMS is the only SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test center in Uttar Pradesh. The center enables students of U.P. and other surrounding states to apply for higher studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships. Prior to this, students of U.P. had to travel to Delhi to find an SAT exam center.

CMS Campuses All Set For Pre-primary Kids:

All campuses of City Montessori School are fully prepared with complete Covid protocol to welcome the tiny tots of Montessori, Nursery, and Kindergarten classes from 8th September.

Keeping the safety of young children in mind, strict compliance with Covid protocol will be ensured. This information has come from Mr. Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS.

Mr. Sharma informed that adequate preparations have been made in all campuses to welcome the little ones when the school reopens tomorrow. Besides sanitizing the classrooms for children, they have been specially decorated and on reaching the schools, the students will be welcomed with a band to make the little kids of Montessori classes who are coming to the school for the first time and the tiny-tots of Nursery and KG classes feel special. This would also boost their morale and enthusiasm for coming to the school and their interest in studies will increase. Apart from this, arrangements of sanitizer, mask, and thermal scanning have been made at the entrance of the school itself.

Mr. Sharma informed that classes are already being held regularly for classes 1 to 12 in all CMS Campuses with complete Covid protocol. Strict adherence to the Covid protocol prescribed by the state administration is being ensured. Circles have been marked at six feet distance at the entrance gates at all Campuses to ensure social distancing and banners citing the Covid protocol have been pasted at all places in the school premises. Besides, social distancing norms will also be followed in the classrooms and all classes will be sanitized regularly.
