Importance of peace and unity message on ‘New Parents’ Evening’
Students of City Montessori School conveyed the message of Religious Unity and showcased the importance of peace and unity through beautiful educational-cultural and inspirational presentations. The ‘New Parents’ Evening’ was organized by City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus II and Station Road Campuses. Grandparents of students were specially invited at the New Parents’ Evening – ‘Aagaman’ organized by CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus II who registered their presence online in large numbers and motivated the students.
Earlier, the programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony. Students presented School Prayer, All-religion, and World Unity Prayer which created an atmosphere of serenity. The presentation of ‘World Parliament’ focused on the current world order and drew the attention of the audience towards issues plaguing the world. The students mesmerized the audience with the presentation of educational-cultural items like songs, bhajans, and short plays.
Speaking on the occasion, CMS Founder, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi said that every student has the potential to become the light of the world. The CMS School is committed to imparting human education to its students apart from material education and this programme is one of the interventions that we utilize to achieve that.
CMS Founder Director, Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi appreciated the performance put up by the students and motivated them to excel in life. CMS President and MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi said that CMS is striving to impart an education that helps its students occupy high seats in their careers, becoming ideal citizens of the society. Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus II closed the event with a vote of thanks. At the New Parents Evening organized by CMS Station Road Campus, Principal, Mrs. Deepali Gautam said that it is our endeavor to provide meaningful education to students and contribute to their overall development in a conducive atmosphere. She thanked the parents in the audience for their cooperation and keen interest shown in participation in the programme.
