Every Institution in India is participating in one form or the other to celebrate 75 years of Independence across the nation through ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. The Indian Navy is no different and is conducting a National level Indian Navy Quiz for school students from Classes IX to XII.
The aim is to inspire school students to be nation builders by inculcating a strong sense of patriotism, dedication, self-reliance, and an evolved educated society, committed to and proud of our rich heritage, culture, and values.
Students would get an opportunity to experience the semi-finals and finals being onboard the Aircraft Carrier INS Vikramaditya or the deck of an indigenously designed & built frontline warship or at the grand setting of the largest Naval Academy in Asia, the prestigious Indian Naval Academy (INA) at Ezhimala in Kerala. The participants of these rounds would experience Naval operations or be a part of the passing out parade at the INA.
Highlights:
- Each team will consist of 2 members from a school and a standby member. A school teacher should accompany the school team.
- The quiz will have questions from the field of General Knowledge/ GK, covering topics from India, History, Culture & Heritage, Sports, Entertainment, Science & Technology, World, Literature & Art, Current Affairs, Food & Lifestyle, Business& Brands, etc.
- There are two stages to the Quiz. A) Online Elimination round 1, 2 & Quarter Final B) Semi-Final and the Grand Final onboard the aircraft carrier / the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
- The Schedule for Elimination 1, 2, and Quarter Final will be intimated to the registered teams.
- Travel and other expenses for the Semi-Finalists and the finals will be borne by The Indian Navy.
- After Registration closes, there will be a Practice Test for students to become familiar with the Online Quiz Platform.
