Virtual International Family Unity ‘Menage’ is being organized at CMS on 14 February. The Finance Minister, UP, Mr. Suresh Khanna will be the Chief Guest on this occasion.

City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus II is organizing the virtual International Festival ‘Menage’, celebrating Family Unity on Sunday, 14th February from 11.00 am.

Mr. Suresh Khanna, Finance Minister of the state will be the chief guest on this occasion. This information has come from Mr. Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr. Sharma informed that the festival is aimed at strengthening family unity and inculcating in future generations a desire and enthusiasm for creating a divine environment in society for a better character and moral development of the younger generation. At the same time, the festival of Family Unity will spread the message that an ideal world society can not be envisaged without the moral upliftment of its future citizens. CMS believes that schools and colleges worldwide owe this responsibility to come forward as the guides for adolescent and young students and lead them towards building a society that is clean, healthy, and is morally sound.

Mr. Sharma informed that under this international festival, very interesting and informative competitions are being organized for students in the age group of 3 to 14 years and their family members. All the competitions have been held offline and their entries uploaded online. The best entries out of these will be awarded at the online prize distribution ceremony of Menage on 14th February. A large number of entries from students of various prestigious schools of India and abroad have been received for participation in various competitions of Menage.

The Menage competitions include Miscellany, Puppetry- Puppet Show, Biography, Portraiture, Aerobatics, Frolic – Dance, and Yodel-Singing. Mr. Sharma informed that for the past several years CMS has been celebrating 14th February, Valentine’s Day as the Family Unity Day, and motivating the society to consider this day as the day of togetherness for the family. As part of this campaign, the International Family Unity Festival ‘Menage’ and its competitions will inspire everyone to love and respect each other equally.
