
Today was the second day of the International Science Olympiad, QUANTA 2020. Students of India and abroad display their talents in Mathematics and Mental Ability Quiz.
The students displayed their talents in Mathematics and Mental Ability Quiz Competition. This new generation would shoulder the responsibility of creating a New World Order.
Quanta 2020 being organized online by City Montessori School, Chowk Campus.
Students from Brazil, Germany, Jordan, Bangladesh, Russia, and various states of India participated in today’s events.
International Science Olympiad has a great fan throughout the Globe. Students from as many as 40 countries of the world have participated in 23 editions of Quanta held so far. This is the 24th time that CMS Chowk Campus is organizing this Olympiad.
Tough competition was witnessed amongst student teams from India and abroad in the final round of Mathematics and Mental Ability Quiz held live today on the Zoom app. This competition was held in two rounds. The winning teams of the written round held in the first round got the opportunity to participate in the final round organized live today.
Each participating team was represented by two students whose prompt answers to the questions put up by the quizmaster amazed the audience. Quizmaster, Ms. Shivani Tiwari, who graduated from IIT Kanpur, a gold medalist and senior maths teacher from CMS Chowk Campus conducted the quiz. The participating students’ performance in the visual round, oral question-answer session, and buzzer round was worth watching. The questions were based on the various branches of Mathematics. The tough competition and participants’ ability to come up with quick replies to the toughest of questions won the hearts of the audience.
Earlier, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi blessed the student participants and wished them a great future. Secretary of Quanta-2020 and Principal of CMS Chowk Campus, Mrs. Aditi Sharma informed that tomorrow on 20th December, a live presentation of online Science Quiz will be held at the Zoom app at 5.00 pm, in which 23 student teams from India and abroad will put up their talents on display before the audience. Mrs. Aditi Sharma expressed her belief that Quanta 2020 would be able to instill a scientific outlook in young minds.
