NCERT has inaugurated the yearly event ‘Kala Utsav 2020’ under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat scheme. The aim of the event is to promote skill development for students at the secondary education level involving students of Classes 9 and 10. This time the event shall be organized virtually considering the COVID19 pandemic.
The event was attended by the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Education minister of State Sanjay Dhotre, and Joint Director of NCERT Amarendra Behera.
Kala Utsav is going to be a 12-day event starting from 11th January and to end on January 22nd.
The Ministry of Human Resource Department (MHRD) is going to telecast the event on its official website. Interested individuals can access it through the link webcast.gov.in/mhrd/, where the archived webcast videos can also be accessed.
The Department of School Education and Literacy is also collaborating to host the event held under the National Educational Planning Act.
