On 3rd December, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the ‘Madhu’ app, an e-learning mobile phone application for school students. The application has been designed and developed with the aim of making the students understand their subjects in a better and efficient way. The app is named after ‘Utkal Gourab’ Madhusudan Das is developed by the Ganjam district administration for school students. His long efforts resulted in the Birth of Modern Odisha. MadhuApp is the tribute to the great son of Odisha, with the goal of showering the light of knowledge to the Modern Odisha. Currently, the application is only available for Android users.
The objective is to helping school students in learning their lessons taught in classrooms through videos and practicing them as per the student’s feasibility. Via the application students will have access to video explanation in Odia language of the topics they are taught in their classroom.
The courses have been developed to make the videos interesting using quality teaching-learning material.
It also features interactive question answering sessions. Some of the silent features of MadhuApp are
– Lectures by Expert School Teachers in Odiya Language
– Usage of high-quality TLM (Teaching Learning Material)
– Interactive Question answering session post completion of videos.
– Brings real classroom experience in the palms of the student
