Lucknow Girl awarded for outstanding performance in NCC – Medal of Appreciation
Khushi Srivastava, an alumna of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus has been awarded Medal of Appreciation. Director-General, NCC, Lt General Tarun Kumar Aich appreciated and awarded her extraordinary performance in the past 3 years in NCC.
Khushi is the only cadet from Lucknow to attend the Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) in New Delhi in 2019.
She also attended the Republic Day Camp (RDC) in Republic Day Parade New Delhi this year. Khushi was the only cadet from Lucknow to participate in the All India NCC girls contingent. Moreover, she is the only girl from U.P. to receive this accolade and has made the city proud with her achievement.
Khushi completed her class 12 in 2018 from CMS Chowk Campus. She says, “I was always interested in joining armed forces. While doing graduation, I saw a picture of NCC cadets in uniform. Thus she became interested to join NCC.
I now plan to appear for Combined Defense Services (CDS) exam to get into the armed forces”. Reminiscing her school days, she says, “My teachers always motivated me to perform to my best in every arena while at the same time never ignoring my studies”.
Thus the Principal of CMS Chowk Campus, Mrs. Aditi Sharma says, “Khushi was a brilliant student throughout her schooling days who excelled in all the school activities.”
While on this occasion the Founder Manager of CMS, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi said, “I feel proud in congratulating Khushi for her brilliant achievement. It is a matter of delight for us that our students are excelling in all arenas and winning accolades with their outstanding performances.”
