
CBSE has announced a three-day training programme for the teachers teaching ‘Multi Skill Foundation Course’ (Skill subject with subject code 416) in classes 9th and 10th. Schools located in India or Overseas can nominate their teachers for the online course.
This shall be an online training conducted through the Google Meet platform. Schools who have applied for the ‘Multi Skill Foundation Course’ w.e.f. session 2020-2021, can nominate the teachers who have not undergone similar training earlier.
This training program will be conducted in the blended learning format. The teachers will be given an orientation of the Multi Skill Foundation Course and Learning by doing an approach to teaching this skill subject. Above all training will be conducted using audio-visual tools, PowerPoint presentations, and real examples from the classroom.
There will be opportunities for participants to practice at home and also get answers to their queries from the Master Trainers. And most important topics will be a mix of vocational pedagogy and technical training with short assignments for teachers each day.
The live training sessions for the subject will be held on 27th & 28th October 2020 (9:30 am – 12:00 pm) and on 30th October 2020 (9:30 am – 5:00 pm) including breaks in between.
