Today on the occasion of the National Mathematics Day 2020 there were many events and programmes performed by many individuals and educational institutions.
One such performance was given by Advaita Nair, Class 7 Students of G.D Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj. Through her performance, she presented geometrical patterns in the different postures of the Bharatanatyam dance.
According to Dr. Nishank, mathematics is embedded in our day-to-day life. Maths & dance are related in many ways. The general society may not see anything to be common in them but if we look closely, similarities & connections reveal themselves.
On the occasion of National Mathematics Day 2020, we would like to appreciate the efforts of all those involved with the Mathematics subjects.
