Due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic school children are bound to stay at home, as a result, this is affecting children physically as well as psychologically.
It has been reported that the pandemic is causing strong feelings such as sadness, fear, anxiety, helplessness, uncertainty, loss of interest and hopelessness among children.
Hence to provide support and address the mental health concerns of children, NCERT has taken a great step ‘Counselling Services for School Students’ through its trained counselors.
The children who wish to seek guidance and support can get in touch with the counselors on WhatsApp, mobile number and email address provided.
The NCERT Counselling Service has been divided into five (5) following regions
- Northern Region
- Western Region
- Eastern Region
- Southern Region
- Delhi Region
