Poetry Writing Competition

On the third day of the 4-day International English Literature Olympiad, Odyssey International-2021 Poetry Writing Competition, painting, and illustration Competitions were held. The participants had to compose a poem on the topic ‘Break Free’ given on the spot in one hour’s time and display it with an illustration drawn in MS Paint / Photoshop and recite it online. Each team had two participating students whose confidence in recitation and beautiful illustration enthralled the audience and the judge alike. Writer, Dr. Mallika Tripathi, Professor, Firoze Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Raebareli was the judge of this competition. An Open Mic Session on ‘Advancements in Victorian Literature’ and Interaction Online on topics ‘What is that one thing that should change in society for women’ and ‘What is the role of education in ensuring gender equality was also held for students of India and abroad.

The students from South Africa, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Nepal, Kuwait, Germany, Indonesia, and various Indian states outpoured their emotions in the most creative ways in La Poesie (Poetry Writing, Painting and Illustration) competition held online and amazed all with their creativity, artistic talents, technical skills, and powerful elocution.

Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr. Hari Om Sharma informed that the entries received for Entrancing De Danza (Choreography), Styliste Modeliste (Character in the Costume), and Kino Teatras (Cinematics) competitions of Odyssey International were also displayed on the third day of the event today, which presented an unbelievable display of talents. Mr. Sharma informed that Odyssey International 2021 will conclude tomorrow on 14th August with an online closing ceremony to be held at 3.00 pm. The prize winners from India and abroad will be honored in this online ceremony amidst a colorful educational cultural programme presented by the participating teams of India and various other countries.
