
India Post, West Bengal Circle is pleased to announce a slogan writing, painting, and calligraphy competition. Anyone interested to participate may purchase “Competition Postcard” from Post Office Counters by paying Rs. 2/- for each postcard.
Competition is live from 17th September 2020 and the last date for the submission of your artwork is 31st October 2020. The winning entries will be announced on 14th November. Do you know what is 14th November is famous for?
Prize money for the winning candidates in each category
- The first prize is 10000/-,
- The second prize is Rs. 7500/-
- The third prize is Rs. 5000/-
The theme of the Slogan Writing Competition is “What is the most important thing I did during the time of COVID-19“. The answer should be written on the competition postcards within 50 words in Hindi/English/Bengali.
For the painting competition, any postage stamp issued on Mahatma Gandhi may be painted on the Post Card for participation in the competition.
For Calligraphy competition the lines for calligraphy design are as follows –

“Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world is not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls”
For the Hindi version, the following may be written –

सारे जहाँ से अच्छा
हिन्दोस्तां हमारा
हम बुलबुलें हैं इसकी,
ये गुलिस्ताँ हमारा।
For Bengali version, the following may be written –

Participating candidates are required to drop the designed postcards in the letterbox of their nearest Post Office.
