National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has organized a Diploma course in “Teaching of Science at Upper Primary Stage”. The online course shall consist of multimedia-based interactive learning materials primarily for school teachers dealing with Science at the upper primary level (classes 6-8) in schools. Every module of the course will start from the basics and attempt to develop participants understanding up to a significant conceptual depth. On successful completion of the course, NCERT will award a diploma certificate for “Teaching of Science at Upper Primary Stage”.
The purpose of this course is to help in the professional development of a large number of pre-service and in-service teachers to become reflective and competent practitioners.
Course duration: The course will run for 40 weeks, starting from 27th July to 31st May 2021. Every week (i.e. on Monday) a new module will start. All the modules along with the final exam have to be completed within 40 days.
Course Fee: Onetime enrolment fee of Rs. 2000, which shall be accepted online only.
Last date: The last date for enrollment is 26th July 2020.
