Vigilance Awareness Week 2020 in Schools

Vigilance Awareness Week 2020

The Commission has decided that Vigilance Awareness Week 2020 would be observed from 27th October 2020 to 2nd November 2020.

This year’s theme of the Vigilance Awareness Week is ‘Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat (Vigilant India, Prosperous India)’.

Vigilance Awareness Week 2020

The Central Vigilance Commission, an apex integrity institution of our Country, in its endeavor to promote transparency, accountability, and integrity in public life, has been declaring the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week every year to encourage the fight against corruption.

For inculcating greater awareness on vigilance in public life, schools are requested to encourage teachers, staff members, and senior students (Classes X to XII) to take the ‘e-Integrity Pledge’ during the period 27th Oct 2020 to 02nd November 2020 on the official portal of Central Vigilance Commission website. Click here to visit the official website.

A copy of the pledge is also available in the circular published by CBSE. Those who take the pledge verbally may be advised to record it through the website. Click here to read the circular published by CBSE.

Considering the existing COVID-19 pandemic situation, school staff and students have to take the ‘e-Integrity Pledge’ by using the available electronic mode.

CBSE is not organizing any other physical activity related to Vigilance Awareness Week 2020 and the same is expected from the schools.

Schools are required to submit a report of the above via Google Form on or before 03rd November 2020.
